French Quarter Festival:
More than one dozen stages will rock the French Quarter throughout the three-day weekend. Music lovers will find traditional and contemporary jazz, Latin, rhythm and blues, Cajun and zydeco, New Orleans funk, classical, rock, international and the many diverse sounds that are part of this city's rich cultural lifestyle. International Arts Festival:
The International Arts Festival continues to offer reggae but it also includes live performances of world music, Latin, soca, and more, with a healthy infusion of real New Orleans jazz and R&B. During this one day event, held annually in September, you are likely to hear the music of Cuba, Brazil, Honduras, Europe, Africa, and the Caribbean, in addition to the music of New Orleans. New Orleans Saints:
Head down to the Louisiana Superdrome and watch the 2009 Superbowl Champions in action. The Saints are the current champions of the National Football League and play in the South Division of the National Football Conference. Head down and watch them play a home game in this magnificent stadium. The Superdrome is able to hold 72,000 spectators each week during the regular NFL season.
